You know when you just look at something every day and one day you decide that you’re over it? Yep, that’s what happened to me with our living room. The living room is the heart of our house, it’s where we relax and watch TV, talk to our children and unwind after a long day. It’s where we spend time as a family and so we want it to be a room we love. We were already half way there, I didn’t want to change the sofa or wooden furniture we had as it is still relatively new. I spent months trying to find the right soft furnishings for our living room. When I found cushions I liked I couldn’t find anything else to go with them. I got to the point where I was ready to give up until one day I called into Sainsbury’s to get some shopping and found the perfect cushions.
With Fathers day fast approaching (Sunday 16th June) I decided I would take the two youngest girls to Bloomfield Shopping Centre to get some ideas for Fathers Day Gifts because I always struggle with buying Trevor gifts, he never wants anything and I gave up buying him clothes years ago! I thought I would share with you some of the things that caught my eye.
Trying to find something fun and enjoyable for all 5 kids to do on a day/afternoon out is difficult at times especially when Lewis being the only boy he gets outvoted by the girls a lot but today we had a unanimous vote for a trip to the cinema to see Aladdin. We opted for Odyssey Cinemas in the SSE Arena. The kids love going to the cinema in the SSE Arena because the seats are so much bigger than the local cinema which means there is more space more them and they get a better view of the screen.
What better way to spend a Sunday morning than at a fashion show, an escalator fashion show at Victoria square none the less. After missing the tickets for last years show and hearing such great reports about the show I made sure I got my tickets early this year and it did not disappoint!
